What is a lawn and garden service?
A lawn and garden service (also known as a property or landscape maintenance service) includes lawn mowing and garden care in a single service. With NW Landscaping and tree Service, you can start or stop your services at any time, and we focus on offering a reliable, high level of service with simple online invoicing.
How high do you mow the grass?
Our standard cutting height is 2.5″—higher than you might expect. A higher cutting height significantly improves the health of the lawn, helping to shade the tender roots and outcompete small weeds.
In the fall, we typically reduce our height to 2″ to make it easier to collect fall leaves and leave the lawn looking neat for the winter months.

What is your cancellation policy?
To request a cancellation, just call or email our office at NW Landscaping and tree Service.
Lawn Mowing, Garden Maintenance, Fertilizer and Weed Control can be cancelled anytime. You will be responsible for the cost of any pro-rated services you used but have not yet paid for or refunded for any services you have not yet received.
How do you calculate invoices?
Invoices are calculated based on our hourly rate multiplied by the number of staff who service your property from when we arrive until we depart. We calculate our time on site to the nearest five minutes.
In addition to the hourly rate on-site, we have a standard charge for travel time that is applied to all invoices.
Finally, if you requested any additional materials (like mulch or soil) or requested that we remove debris from your property (we usually leave it neatly bagged for city collection at no charge), those additional charges are applied to your invoice.
HST is applied to the total amount, and the invoice is emailed, usually the next business day.
How does invoicing work?
Our crew records their time on site after they complete their work, which is reported to our office at the end of the day. Our office team will issue an invoice for the work the next business day, which you will receive by email.
